2003 Bergevin Lane Vineyards Jaden´s Reserve Syrah
You have to figure that any wine that puts the winery owner´s
daughter on the label isn´t going to suck! This is Bergevin Lane´s first
reserve Syrah bottling, and it is incredibly limited - only 48 cases were made, and we
only got enough for the club. Our price is $55.00. I´d wait a bit to
open this, like a couple years. I tried it at the winery, and was knocked out by
it. Fortunately, there will be another release of this next year, and there´s
150 cases of it.
2005 Isenhower Snapdragon
This perennial favorite is a blend of 55% Roussanne and 45%
Viognier. It is light and flavorful, with a beautiful expansive nose.
It´s ready to drink - in fact, it demands to be drunk young. We have a bit
more at $19.00. Enjoy!
