Washington Wine of the Month for July 2004
Dunham Cellars Lewis Vineyard Syrah
and
Dunham Cellars Three Legged Red
Do I actually need to talk too much about either of these wines? They're
spectacular, especially the Syrah (which is mostly winery-only single vineyard
edition, much like the Frenchtown Syrah Eric Dunham released earlier.) The
Three-Legged Red has the story of he name on the back label, so I'll forebear
telling it here. It's always sought after. It's $16.00, and the Syrah is
$65.00. There's some Dog left, very little Syrah. Drink 'em young - but
definitely decant them first, it'll help open both up no end.
