2003 Two Hands Lily´s Garden Shiraz
These guys make unbelievably thick, powerful Shiraz, and their Garden series is
their cream o´ the crop of each vintage. This one hales from McLaren Vale, which for my
money is usually the most balanced and structured of the regions. Cooler than the Barossa, it
generally retains more acidity without sacrificing the power that both the area and the producer -
and the grape! - are known for. Hold it up to another five years, or decant and drink early.
It´s yummy! It is $59.75, and there´s a tiny bit more out there.
NV Lamiable Grand Cru Brut Champagne
I know it´s a bit early to be thinking holidays, but there´s a
very good chance that this killer bottle of wine won´t be around that long! It´s
imported by Robert Kacher, who is one of my favorite people in the wine trade. You might have
noticed that we´re concentrating more on smaller houses in our bubbly section; this is a
good example of why. There´s some left at $47.00. Drink it this December!
And yes, the total of these clubs came to over $90 with discount, so we just ran ‘em at $90 flat.
Enjoy!
