Opportunities to Taste and Learn
Opportunities to Taste and Learn
While there is much mystique and, yes, snobbery surrounding the world of wine, the bottom line is: it’s meant to be enjoyed. And if you like it, then that’s that. But there is always more to learn, no matter how long you’ve been drinking wine, and a little added knowledge can always broaden one’s experience and heighten one’s enjoyment.
We offer several ways to learn more about wine:

Just wanted to
restate what a great class you guys put on last night! ... We’re so lucky to have you as our local shop.”

We run three series of wine classes a year. Our winter class line-up is listed below. Our instructors are specialists in their field and love to share their knowledge, and the classes are relaxed and informative. Classes are $35 each ($30 for wine club members) and they begin at 7:30 and run about an hour and a half, with instructors available afterwards for questions. Participants must be 21 or over.
Call us at 206.937.2868, or drop by to sign up or for more information.
We coordinate with local restaurants to present occasional wine dinners. These events showcase some of the outstanding restaurants in West Seattle, and feature wines specially selected to highlight the menus.
